Ian Mayne MD, FRCS(C)

Dr. Ian Mayne is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at North York General Hospital in North York, Ontario. He is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

He specializes in both sports medicine and shoulder & elbow surgery and has completed Fellowships in Sports Medicine (ie. arthroscopic surgery) and shoulder & elbow reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Mayne performs such procedures as ACL repair & reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, achilles tendon repair, rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement, shoulder stabilization and elbow arthroscopy. He has a special interest in upper extremity tendon tears (i.e. distal biceps, triceps and pectoralis major).

Dr. Mayne is a co-founder of Revolution Physio, a state-of-the-art physiotherapy and orthopaedic centre located 5 minutes from North York Hospital. Dr. Mayne’s patients experience the convenience of having leading physiotherapy, x-ray and casting services for all of their pre and post-surgery care in the same location as Dr. Mayne’s office.
